Small Wonders Change Programme


Intensive change programme and evaluation

Best Beginnings is committed to establishing the efficacy of all that we do. At Guys and St Thomas’ Hospital, Kings Hospital and Liverpool Women’s NHS Trust we are undertaking an intensive programme to embed and evaluate the Small Wonders Change Programme. Two Band 7 research nurses are being employed to manage the roll-out of the programme. We have commissioned Coventry University to undertake a robust evaluation of the change programme.

In addition to this in-depth work, each neonatal unit can have its own Small Wonders Champion: we have a national network with 275 Champions to-date.
